This is a very rare thing indeed - a good episode of '7th Heaven' from its seventh series. I can think of only one other that was as good as this, and that was the first of the series - a very long time ago.
Becuase while we still have the usual Lucy paranoia rubbish (Roxanne's comment about her needing therapy felt very apt) there is a decent storyline being told elsewhere involving Eric that is both thought provoking and heartfelt.
It's the sort of storyline that this show used to be able to produce on a regular/near every episode basis. Now the well is running dry, and the quality is much, much more mixed.
When it is good though this show can still deliver.
