Let's Talk About Sex
studioAT10 April 2021
While the idea of all the stories being linked around one theme (in this case sex) is nice, episode on episode it wears a bit thin.

Lucy was insufferable here, I'm amazed her boyfriend sticks with her. Everything else was well played.

Rev. Camden helps rapist find job

Warning: Spoilers
I like this show, but alas some of the episodes fall flat. This one not only falls flat, it's cringe-inducing.

As the title indicates this episode revolves around sex. Matt is doing a report on sexuality which he knows nothing about. Mary is going to a coed sleepover and lying about it. Lucy is trying to pressure her boyfriend into sex. Annie has made friends with two pregnant sixteen-year-olds

It's one of these friends stories that is cringe worthy. The father of her child is 25 years old. At one point she cries. "I wish I could go back seven months and say don't have anything to prove to you'" which even leaving out he's an adult screams of rape.

Instead of calling the cops Annie asks Eric to help him get a job. Which Eric does. The girl was trying to get him to leave by telling him she wouldn't marry him unless he had a job. So now she has to tell her rapist she doesn't want to marry him at all (and why would she?)

The only good part of this episode was Simon trying to babysit Ruthie who ties him to the stair railing while playing cops and robbers and promptly getting her head stuck in the railing.
