In the opening scene, Reed and Malloy are being followed by a light blue VW Beetle and pass a parked white pickup truck camper. After the scene with the mental woman, they are traveling down the same road with the same light blue beetle right behind them and again passing the same white parked pickup truck camper.
The officers are given an address for a 459 (burglary). When they arrive on the scene, you can see the street number painted on the curb. The curb number is different than the number given by dispatch.
After apprehending the Fosters, Malloy and Reed leave the garage door open with the evidence inside. Some have submitted this as what would be a character error type goof, but it's not. The officers had three in custody (Mrs. Foster and the two boys), so they would need additional transport, and thus other officers and vehicles, at a minimum. There is nothing to indicate that Reed and Malloy just walked away and left the location.
Unless the revolver were fired at extreme close range, the bullet hole would be smaller and would not have burnt edges in the mental woman's chair. Additionally, the bullet would have enough force to go through the chair back and into the wall.
As the blonde boy exits the garage at Mrs. Foster's house, and Reed and Malloy approach the garage, thick camera cables can be seen on the ground at the corner of the garage. The boy steps on them as he turns to run from Malloy and Reed. As the group stands on the corner of the garage exterior in the next shot, the cables are gone.
After the first visit with Mrs. Foster, Reed and Malloy return to the station. As they walk down the hallway, a boom mic shadow can be seen following them on the ceiling above Malloy.
During the scene outside the Fosters' garage, the shadow of the boom can be seen on the ground behind Officer Malloy. Also, the shadow of another piece of equipment (perhaps a light) can be seen on the garage wall in between the officers.
