At 12:38 into the episode there is a shot of the house facade used in the film "Psycho."
When Brisco takes a shower, the scene is played as a homage to Hitchcock's classic film "Psycho".
The Bates House, used in "Psycho" is in fact used in this episode as well as in many episodes on many other TV shows and movies. It actually was based on a painting called, "The House by the Railroad" painted in 1925 by Edward Hopper and was the first painting ever bought for the Metropolitan Museum in New York (1930).
