'Deep in the Heart of Dixie' promises a Dixie-heavy episode, and more Kelly Rutherford's always a sure bet. But it's also a good Bowler episode. Between being drafted into government service and hiding out as a nun, he has some good material in this episode. Which, aside from eye candy (Andrea Parker as well) and the standard thrills (train-jumping, punches, bomb in the Westerfield Club) also promises the cultured villainy of David Warner. That guy's in a class all his own.
And in the end, it really leaves Brisco's and Dixie's relationship with a hopeful ellipsis. It's nice.
