The Black Five
Prismark1019 March 2024
Robin Hood intercepts a message from the Duke DeMoreville (Patrick Cargill) to Prince John.

The message contains the words The Black Five. It also wants to get rid of the Sheriff of Nottingham. Little John thinks that is not such a bad thing.

Robin Hood is not so sure. The Duke DeMoreville took over the running of Leicester and he was a brute. Decimating the population of the town. He acquired the name 'The Hangman of Leicester.'

When it comes to monsters, Robin would rather have the existing Sheriff rather than Duke DeMoreville.

To see him off, Robin needs to join forces with the Sheriff of Nottingham. An enticement is that the Black Five are precious pearls from the crown of Prince Saladin.

A novel story, an uneasy alliance between the Sheriff and Robin Hood. It could never last. Cargill was dastardly as the Duke.
