Henry (Paul Eddington) is the poor hungry serf caught poaching eels in the private lake in Sir Cedric's vast estate.
Sir Cedric is a keen fisherman an he certainly does not like poachers. The penalty is death. Maid Marian goes to plead to Sir Cedric and spare the poacher's life.
When he refuses. Robin Hood takes a more novel approach. He tries to fool Sir Cedric that there is a secret pool full of fishes.
Robin would take him there but he needs to release Henry if he wants to ever fish there.
It turns out that the foolish Sir Cedric is just taken to a part of his own lake. After Robin Hood made him go round in circles.
A wacky witless story. Sir Cedric cannot recognise his own pond.
