The Traitor
Prismark101 February 2022
With King Richard held hostage in the holy lands.

Some of the lords and landowners have raised their own ransom to free him.

Three of the lords are to meet with Maid Marian's castle to take the ransom. Robin Hood has been requested by the King's mother to deliver the ransom safely.

However they believe the document given to Robin by the king's mother might be a forgery and needs to verified.

They are unaware that one of Prince John's enforcers know what is happening. There is a traitor in the midst who has supplied important information to the enemy.

As they wait in the castle. The trunk containing the ransom is stolen. Robin follows but ends up being captured himself.

You might expect the men of sherwood to be a bit dim which they are here. They almost walk into a trap.

Robin Hood is silly here. Not sure how well the trunk was guarded, it was stolen right under Robin's nose while his back was turn.

When Robin finds the thief he does not apprehend him. Instead he waits until the trunk is hidden and then goes to retrieve it when the thief has only walked off a few yards.

I would have thought he would want to see the culprit.
