Jack, finished with his surgical stint, is onto his next rotation in the Emergency Department. Just when he thinks he's doing well with Terri, he makes the mistake of calling her 'Sullivan', as Mitch used to do. Her immediate reaction is angry and defensive. It looks like Jack has no hope with her. Norma, elderly bag lady and former district roller skating champ, sets up camp in the waiting room. Regina wants her moved on, but Von, knowing that Norma is harmless and has nowhere else to go, pleads her case. Norma stays - but the end of her day is unexpected for everyone.
