The main interest in this episode is the Samantha Eggar's presence, nothing more. She plays a Baretta's girl friend whose former boy friend is an ex con accused of a cop murder. One more time, Baretta who will do his best to preserve his female friend's friendship whilst trying not to kill the fugitive...Routine, just routine, with expectable results. Not the best of the series. I repeat, only the Samantha Eggar is interesting, her relationship torn between Baretta and the escaped cop killer. Vincent Sherman made it for, I suppose, to pay his bills. Do not expect anything worth from his former 40's or even 50's Warner Bros pictures work.
