"Eviction" is a 2 part episode dealing with a situation that requires extra care from Barney, as the remaining tenants living in a condemned building refuse to leave. Rosana Soto (second of four) plays Elena Elizondo, spokeswoman for the Spanish-speaking group, with Felipe Turich as her companion Jorge Rodriguez. Dave Madden appears as corporate attorney Clayton Walsh, who hates to be the bad guy, forcing Barney to make a decision by 3:00. Once the deadline passes, Manhattan South surround the building, and Barney finds himself 'relieved of command' due to 'insubordination and failure to properly execute an authorized court order,' according to Inspector Luger. Dietrich also takes special care with the case of an apparent amnesiac (Donna Baccala) picked up for shoplifting in a supermarket ("she was in produce making a salad!").
