"Vacation" finds the squad room spooked about being called out on robberies that don't take place, a series of false alarms perpetrated by a little old man (Jack Bernardi, second of two) intent on grading his local police force. For instance, on a scale of one to ten he gave Harris high marks on everything except appearance ("a six?"). Bruce Kirby (third of three) plays Frank Rossman, who refuses to donate one of his two kidneys to his ailing younger brother Leo (Ben Slack), due to their mother's long standing insistence on him always giving in to whatever Leo wanted. Barney wants his men to let him know about vacation days, which has Harris and his Wyoming ski trip clashing with Dietrich's weekend in Pennsylvania Dutch country for the annual Wolfgang von Gerta Festival (Harris: "time again for that already?"). Wojo suggests 'eenie meenie miney moe,' while Harris opts for 'one potato, two potato!'
