Bat Masterson : You haven't changed a bit, Pomeroy.
Bat Masterson : I worked for you three years ago, you remember?

Mace Pomeroy : Well, certainly I remember. Why else do you think I sent for you?

Bat Masterson : You never got around to paying me the money you owe me.

Mace Pomeroy : What are you talking about?

Bat Masterson : Two hundred 'n' sixty one dollars and fifty cents. You've owed it to me for three years.

Mace Pomeroy : Oh, for heaven's sake, Masterson, this job pays five times that amount.

Bat Masterson : It's a matter of principle. Do I collect it?

Mace Pomeroy : All right. I'll add it on to your fee.

Bat Masterson : One fee at a time.
Bat Masterson : You, ah, look for me at Condor Canyon, Pomeroy. I'm going to make you pay every cent of the money you owe me right through that nose.

Bat Masterson : Let's see now - I've got two hundred sixty one dollars and fifty cents, plus my fee of one dollar.

General Moran : Sorry, Bat, no poker.

Bat Masterson : And I know you've got at least five thousand dollars. Gonna be a very interesting trip back to Omaha.

General Moran : If you think I'm going to risk my five thousand against a mere two hundred and sixty two...

Bat Masterson : Why not? We're both playing on Pomeroy's money.

[they laugh]

Bat Masterson : Cut?

General Moran : Well... I guess I didn't expect to keep this railroad anyway.
