  Matthew 'Matt' McGinnis : Postponed? Why'd they do that?

  Mrs. Mary McGinnis : Maybe Ian Peek lost his nerve.

  Terry McGinnis : Somehow, I doubt that.

• Terry McGinnis : Sounds like something's happening at City Hall.

  Bruce Wayne : City Hall? Better be careful.

  Terry McGinnis : Always am.

  Bruce Wayne : Yes, but you've never had to face politicians before.

• Sneak Peek : They're nothing to worry about, I'm untouchable.

  Batman : That's exactly what I think, untouchable.

  [decloaks and walks over to Ian Peek] 

  Sneak Peek : [to the crewman next to him]  Don't you have a boot to lick?

  [the crewman quickly leaves and Ian looks back to Batman] 

  Sneak Peek : You were saying?

  Batman : What I'm saying is you or someone who works for you figured out a way of moving through walls.

  Sneak Peek : Moving through walls? If I could do that, I'd be a very rich reporter.

  Batman : You *are.*

• Batman : [after Ian Peek, after losing control of his ability to become intangible, sinks through the basement floor of the building, laughing maniacally for a short time, then makes one last scream before sinking all the way through]  What's gonna happen to him?

  Bruce Wayne : My guess, he'll keep right on falling until he reaches the center of the Earth. It's about as inside as you can get.

• Bruce Wayne : I knew him well; Nobuo Taka. He developed a theory called vibraspace. He thought atoms and molecules could be made to vibrate in such a way that they could pass right through each other.

  Terry McGinnis : Like that guy from the other night. But what would Taka want from that Tong gangster?

  Bruce Wayne : Taka died years ago. There was a fire. It destroyed all his research, too.

• Batman : [last lines, after Ian Peek sinks through the floor of the basement of the building after losing control of his ability to become intangible, laughing maniacally and making one last scream before going all the way through]  What's gonna happen to him?

  Bruce Wayne : I know. They've been running it twice an hour since before dawn.

  Bruce Wayne : He planted a camera in the Batmobile.

  Terry McGinnis : No.

  Bruce Wayne : I just found it.

• Mary McGinnis : Terry! I was afraid you were gonna miss it.

  Terry McGinnis : Miss what?

  Matt McGinnis : You know, "The Inside Peek." Everybody at school's talking about it.

  Mary McGinnis : And at work, too.

  Terry McGinnis : Aren't you the one who didn't want us watching this? Uh, you said I wouldn't find it so entertaining if I was on the receiving end.

  Mary McGinnis : Yeah, well, what do I know?

• Ian Peek : I was half-expecting you. Come on in... Terry. Once I saw that the old guy was Bruce Wayne, it wasn't hard to figure out who you were. He was the original Batman, wasn't he? Wasn't he?

  Terry McGinnis : I don't care what you do to me, but he doesn't deserve this. He's done too much for this city to wind up in the middle of a media circus.

  Ian Peek : He means a lot to you, doesn't he?

  Terry McGinnis : Yeah, he does.

  Ian Peek : I believe you. I really do. That's the trouble with this business. You meet so many liars, you forget what sincerity sounds like. Want to say it all again while I've got the camera running?

• Matt McGinnis : [Terry is watching "Inside Peek"]  What are they doing?

  Terry McGinnis : [trying to cover his eyes]  This isn't for you.

  Matt McGinnis : Oh... I wanna see! I wanna see!

  [as Terry starts to chase him around the room, the TV is turned off] 

  Terry McGinnis , Matt McGinnis : Hey!

  Mary McGinnis : I don't want you watching this.

  Terry McGinnis : See? I told you.

  Mary McGinnis : I was talking to both of you.

  Terry McGinnis : Come on. It's just entertainment.

  Mary McGinnis : You wouldn't find it so entertaining if you were on the receiving end.
