SHIPMENT OF MINI SKIRTS AND TRAP ON THE LONDON BRIDGE
asalerno1025 June 2022
The trio of paladins are taken prisoner separately, while Batman is trapped by Lord Fogg in a tavern and brainwashed with an ingenious device, Robin is kidnapped by Lady Penelope and her band of beautiful students, Batgirl is introduced. In the secret pavilion where the villains hide the stolen jewels but she is discovered and trapped in the dungeons of Lord Fogg's castle. Another episode full of British elements, castles with secret passageways, English taverns, beautiful young girls in miniskirts and a trap on the iconic London Bridge.

Hardly a foggy notion
kevinolzak29 April 2016
"The Foggiest Notion" finds Batman lured inside the Three Bells pub to do battle with the henchmen of Lord Marmaduke Ffogg (Rudy Vallee), while outside the underage Robin cannot resist being taken captive by Lady Penelope Peasoup (Glynis Johns). Meanwhile, Alfred's steady presence enables Barbara Gordon to make her stunning transformation into Batgirl, who discovers the stolen goods hidden in Marmaduke's Cricket Pavilion, where a paralyzing gas leaves her chained and helpless in the dungeon. The budget cuts make this look even more impoverished than usual, the villains hardly a match for the Dynamic Duo, former crooner Rudy Vallee a miserable bastard to work with, resulting in a storyline as torturous to sit through as it was during the filming, two perfunctory fist fights to break up the tedium.

Better Than Part One

Part two of this clunky three-parter set in London.

Oddly enough, instead of showing Batman and Robin get out of last week's cliff-hanger, this begins with B&R having a nice chat about it in Gordon's office. However, there are signs of improvement as the episode moves on...

1- The moment where those young girls "go wild" and grab Robin would have to be one of the highlights of season three.

2- I like the way Batman still "respects" Alfred when he is clearly holding back information about Batgirl.

Not the best episode of 1966 Batman but still highly watchable.
