- GoofsElly May is headed to a Hollywood party and Granny gives her various weapons to protect her from amorous actors, which Jed takes away. Among them is a hat pin hidden in Elly May's hat, which we see in closeup after she removes it. However, Elly May is wearing a full gown and gloves and the closeup shows an ungloved hand. The hand was apparently supposed to be Jed's, but the closeup was shown before Elly May gave the hat pin to him.
- Quotes
Milburn Drysdale: With Elly in the movies, the Clampetts aren't likely to go back to the hills. And with her beauty, she might become a big star. And if she becomes a big star, she'll make a lot of money. And if she makes a lot of money, she'll put it in *my* bank.
Jane Hathaway: Oh chief, is that all you're thinking of?
Milburn Drysdale: Of course not, I'm thinking of Elly. Now she might meet some young men, have dates, romance, get married. She might marry a big star. And if she does, he'll put his money in *my* bank.
