To emphasize her connection to old society, Mrs. Smith-Standish's name is a combination of Captain John Smith, the founder of Jamestown, and Miles Standish, who helped found the Plymouth Colony.
The complete name of Rosemary DeCamp's character is Priscilla Rolfe Alden Smith-Standish, as seen in the closing credits.
Jethro mentions that being a millionaire is as good as being a duke or an earl. This is a sly reference to the then-popular R&B hit "Duke of Earl" by Gene Chandler.
When Mrs. Drysdale collapses into a chair, Miss Hathaway pulls out a bottle (which undoubtedly contains smelling salts) and starts to unscrew the cap. There's a cutaway to a reaction shot of the Clampetts, then back to Miss Hathaway, who's now screwing the cap back on. Most likely she did administer the salts but the scene was cut for time.
