Intervention (#5.9)

Warning: Spoilers
Now that Dylan's alcoholism and drug abuse hit the ground everyone prepares him an intervention. And this story is actually very good. Pretty realistic to how it really goes without the sentimentality of the addict that usually doesn't happen. And it also shows how it often fails, when the person is not ready to get help as Dylan checks himself out of the rehab. The episode also ends in a dramatic way when he drives off the cliff high.

We still get laughs in this episode, as expected from David and Clare. They make a sex video and by mistake it ends up at Donna's parents house. Lots of fun moments about this.

The One With The Intervention...

Warning: Spoilers
I like this episode. It's pretty good. I absolutely love Valerie, as I always have, and the fact that she's one of the main involved characters in this episode, makes it even better.

In this episode, Dylan comes home to an intervention hosted by all his friends. Valerie, and Clare, who were left out of the intervention, go shopping, which was just really cute. Dylan reluctantly decides to go to rehab, however, after one day at the clinic, he escapes with the help of Valerie. But when he goes strait back to drugs, Valerie walks away from his for good. Meanwhile, Kelly gets the opportunity to model for Seventeen Magazine, Ray, and Donna have dinner with her parents, and David, and Clare's homemade sex-tape accidentally ends up being watched at the home of Donna's parents.

Best part of the episode: Valerie.

Worst part of the episode: Ray.

Overall, I give this episode a 7 out of 10, which in my ratings book is: Great.
