- Endora and Maurice fight over his new secretary.
- Even though she and Maurice don't live together, Endora becomes jealous of his new secretary Abigail. Endora then decides to fight fire with fire when she decides to date his longtime rival John Van Milwood, who is an even bigger Shakespearean ham than Maurice. In the meantime, Samantha is hoping that her parents stop their bickering long enough to give them some very important news.—Brian Washington <Sargebri@att.net>
- Samantha receives an unexpected visit from her father, who was drawn to visit her by something special but unknown. The purpose of Maurice's visit is overtaken by his news: that he has hired a new personal secretary. He states that doing so has given him more free time, which has allowed him to do things he wouldn't have been able to do otherwise, such as make this visit. But Samantha thinks that Maurice had ulterior motives in hiring a personal secretary when she meets that secretary, the young and beautiful Abigail Beecham. She believes Miss Beecham's work focuses more on the personal and less on the secretary. When she learns about Miss Beecham, Endora is not happy about Miss Beecham being in Maurice's life. Despite Endora and Maurice's distant relationship, it is one of respect, and she feels Miss Beecham's presence does not honor that respect, while Maurice just feels Endora is jealous. Endora threatens the witch's version of a divorce unless Miss Beecham goes. But after conferring with Samantha, Endora comes up with a plan that she believes will show Maurice the error of his ways. If Endora's plan works, Endora and Maurice may once again be able to focus on the original reason for their respective visits.—Huggo
