When a young girl goes missing, Jim Carver puts the pieces together, and spots the hallmarks of a killer he put away some years ago.
It's a really good episode, it has the hallmarks of a special about it, definitely not the usual type of episode, it has the look and feel of something a lot more gritty, more in the style of something like Prime Suspect, it would be interesting to know what time of day this went out.
You will notice a total absence of humour, there are no light hearted moments, just a very gritty watch.
Lesley is a very good character, the acting is excellent, a character with some real depth. The scene where she recounts her attack is a pretty harrowing moment.
8/10.
