Kerry goes to the assistance of a battered wife, her efforts attract the attention of a DS Lockyer, who has her target under surveillance.
I enjoyed it, it ends a lot better than it starts, initially it seemed like something of a run of the mill storyline, but it definitely improves as it goes on, and has a very dramatic, unexpected ending.
I like Joy Brook, I can't say I'm loving Kerry so far, I'd like to see more of her, and something of a harder edge, early days, she's a little soft, I'm sure she'll develop some.
I've always really liked actor, Aden Gillett he's appeared in so many of my favourite shows, he was great in Poirot for example, but here, his character is an absolute tool, DS Lockyer is like something out of the 1970's, he's a bit of a chauvinistic idiot.
Nice to see Victor Maguire playing a villain,he's always the good guy, be it Goodnight Sweetheart or Bread, he did a good job here, convincing.
7/10.
