What a reintroduction for Burnside, he's back with an explosive storyline. The previous episode was great, and so is this, it has an explosive start, an engrossing storyline, and some great acting from Chris Ellison.
It's incredibly well staged, the shots in and around the station look fantastic, it makes a nice change to see some heavy action on the show too, it really did work. An explosive start, and an equally explosive ending, they certainly went big for this one.
Considering Burnside has been gone for so many years, it felt as though he's been a part of things all the way through, his return was seamless, he's perfectly in character.
Naturally Frank is going his own way, and after the bigger fish, hopefully this storyline means a definite return.
Great to see Stephen Greif, excellent here and Lamphrey, such a good actor.
