Don Beech is after a criminal, the trouble is he's in Brighton, and worse, part of an active investigation, he and Rod head to the coast.
This was definitely a little different once again, the show really does feel like it's had something of an overhaul, this has to be the first time they filming has gone further afield, Brighton looks great.
It's good, it's definitely a more exaggerated plot, a little tougher to swallow, but definitely dramatic, watchable and surprising.
Definitely a few moments to chuckle over, including Rod's dating woes, and of course the scene where the two alpha males walk into a gay club.
Well acted, I'm a big fan of Lesley Nightingale, she's cracking, and key to the story, good also to see Sally Dexter, cracking actress.
Enjoyed it, 7/10.
