This captures the whole of the 90's in one episode.
After Mike accuses Inspector Monroe of being out of touch with life among the front line staff, he's keen to prove him wrong, and attends to a disturbance at a Night club, along with Mike.
Great episode, this is definitely the show at its best, it's gritty, has a good story and characters, plus it looks and sounds fantastic.
It's great to see Inspector Monroe getting his hands dirty, and mixed into the thick of things, what a smashing actor.
A great cast here, including Luisa Bradshaw-White, who played Paula, she is someone I think of when I remember and romanticise about the 1990's, something about her just captured the flavour of the time.
One of the best things here is the music in the club, talk about being taken back in time, it's just brilliant, that decade is brought back to life here.
Great, 9/10.
