Polly investigates a baby handed in at the front desk, Boulton and Rawton investigate a brutal attack on a young Asian man.
A pretty good episode, but as with the previous one, I felt that there was something lacking. Possibly it's the script, I thought this one felt a little bit rushed. I loved the acting, I liked the way that the two stories linked together.
The format felt old school, like an episode from five or so years back, I think my issue here was that it didn't feel very original. I'm not sure they answered all of the questions, we were left with a few loose ends dangling.
Definitely some upsetting content here.
Renu Setna and Gwenllian Davies are both lovely here, veteran actors that both offer so much, the first appearing in several episodes of the show.
6/10.
