Boulton and Croft are looking for someone on the inside, after a series of thefts at a business, the heat is turned up after one of the drivers is hurt pretty badly.
Excellent, I thoroughly enjoyed this, it's a gritty story, and when John Boulton is centre stage, you know there'll be fireworks. The conflict between John and Suzi's working methods is key to the success of this episode, it works on every level.
One thing you come away with, is Suzi perhaps the most reliable Officer in CID? She seems to be the only one that thinks before acting, the writing for her character is always so consistent.
Philip Martin Brown does a top notch job as dodgy cop Ray Kingsley, you can fully believe in him being someone suspected of goodness knows what.
Excellent, 9/10.
