DCI Wray presses Tosh about his record concerning the case of the two murdered children, he urges Tosh to look again at one of the suspects previously deemed to be of no further interest, Peter Angell.
It's been a good story, naturally it's quite sad, it deals with a very tragic case, but there is a degree of complexity to this story, a layer of depth I had forgotten The Bill had in its early years. It was definitely a series you had to keep watching, as the story has been told in almost disjointed manner.
Clive Wood is really rather good here as Wray, he's a bit of a yuppy, a but smarmy, but he's a good Copper, and quite smart. The excellence of Ron Cook cannot be questioned, I was always a fan of his, a very good performance.
It's such a shame that this show was axed, it's so very watchable. 8/10.
