• Jack Carson : What's the problem, Yvon? Our device isn't having any trouble blocking the OSI signal, is it?

  Dr. Yvon Sanders : No, no. The jamming mechanism is fine. The problem is the dog. I can't begin my tests with a German Shepherd who won't cooperate. Especially one with a bionic jaw. The drug should have made the dog docile, yet he still refuses to eat.

  Jack Carson : There are alternative ways of feeding human beings. Why not dogs?

  Dr. Yvon Sanders : If you are speaking of intravenous feeding, Mr. Carson, it is possible. However, that would just double our problem. I would have to put the shepherd to sleep first, and that would only serve to delay the bionic testing.

  Jack Carson : Get to the point, Yvon. What should we do?

  Dr. Yvon Sanders : Valerie Breuer is a bionic scientist who has worked extensively with Max. She also has a long-standing relationship with the OSI.

  Jack Carson : [thinks for a moment]  Two birds with one stone.

  [Dr. Sanders nods] 

  Jack Carson : It might pay off.

  Hobbs : You want me to get an OSI scientist?

  Jack Carson : We only have 48 hours to deliver the bionic information to our Eastern customer. With the woman, we could buy some time.

  Dr. Yvon Sanders : And Max will assuredly perform for her.
