Kremin is the name of the young missing girl's stuffed toy penguin. It is revealed she couldn't say "penguin" and "Kremin" was the young girl's mispronunciation. The stuffed animal provides proof of the young girl's eventual fate.

The Kremin (Kremlin) Factor has NOTHING to do with the Kremlin

Warning: Spoilers
Blue Heelers is one of my favorite TV shows. In episode 321 Mount Thomas gets a new junior constable, Dash McKinley (Tasma Walton), who insists on calling the Boss Tom until he reveals to her that he knows her real name is Deirdre, which she apparently hates, probably establishing détente. Dash gives everyone a very in-your- face attitude. She came to Mount Thomas because her mother is on dialysis and lives there. Will Dash be another quick flame-out character? No, she'll be around for a total of 130 episodes, more than I've watched so far. This episode is mostly about a girl who shows up claiming to be the long lost and thought to be dead daughter of a local farming family. Lots of twists and turns. Why this one is called The Kremin Factor is a total mystery. I did some Googling but could find no explanation. None of the characters is named Kremin (or Kremlin). I guess I'll just wait-and-see in future episodes.
