Hodgins says there is bubbling and pitting on the periosteum; the periosteum, a membrane of connective tissue surrounding bones, is not present on these cleaned bones.
Bones claims that the bone that was found in the wound is from a forearm. When she later hits the person responsible she hits between the elbow and shoulder. The forearm is between the elbow and wrist.
Zack says the intertrochanteric crest is almost totally eaten away. The intertrochanteric crest is at the top of the femur, but Zack was looking at the bottom of the femur.
Bones claims that the forearm bone came from the killer. Well the only way the bone could have gotten there is if the person suffered a compound fracture which is where the bone is sticking out of the skin. If the person suffered from this there is no way they could grasp a weapon let alone use it to kill someone.
When they go to the bowling alley to confront the killer Bones asks the women why she is favoring her left side when she is holding a bowling ball in her left hand. The lady reveals that she injured her left side on the lanes. When you are injured you do not favor or use the side that is injured. You favor or use the side that is not injured. Also later Bones says she is favoring two ribs on her left side. You can not just use two ribs on either side and you can not favor either side either.
When Bones and Booth are supposedly in a DC-area bowling alley telling the owners that their employee had died, a yellow flier is visible promoting the "61st California State Bowling Championships".
While describing a "typical" domestic disturbance call to Dr. Brennan, Special Agent Booth refers to "the calvary" arriving. He means cavalry.
At the beginning of the episode you can see the camera and cameraman reflected in the window of the news van.
