"Brave New Worlds" is the first episode of the shortened second season of "Brooklyn Bridge". It was shortened because the show really never did well in the ratings despite being exquisitely written and acted.
When the story begins, Alan and his friends are all starting high school. Things get interesting when Alan's new lab partner is a very pretty girl who has a reputation for being very fast...a reputation she never earned but which was thrust upon her by some jerks. Alan is worried as he thinks she wants to be more than just a lab partner and he already has a steady girlfriend.
I liked this episode as it addresses the old double-standard and brings up some interesting issues. Well made (as you'd expect) and well worth seeing.
