Superstition and bad luck seems to be the order of the day, Cabin boy Crewman Dickon has upset the crew of the Sultana, as he accidentally killed an albatross. That signifies bad luck.
Soon Captain Dan Tempest views an abandoned Dutch ship. That can be rich pickings but this one looks to be haunted.
Both Dickon and Gaff Guernsay encounter strange noises and later Dickon disappears. A frightened Gaff legs it out of there.
Dan Tempest remains unconvinced of a haunted ghost ship. He is right, it all a ruse by Captain Tim De Groot to lure other ships, take their goods and scuttle them.
It is a nice story although this ghost ship has a skeletal crew. I wonder how the ship remains at sea with so few people.
