The "New Device" shown for when an officer was down, was not a real device and never utilized by the CHP.

Goofs
When the mattress truck crashes, only two or three mattresses fall forward, and they're not arranged in a pattern. However, when Ponch falls off his bike onto the mattresses, there are more than six of them, and they are in a basically perfect grid.
