Storyline

Grissom, Nick and Warrick examine a body fallen out of the sky, literally in front of two teenage skaters, but there is blood on top of the six-store building, he was dumped, maybe already dead; Nick finds a crack-pipe. He has no ID, just a distinctive Icarus-tattoo for the chosen one, according to the drug-convicted artist it's Jimmy Maurer who was sure to die. The cause of death is suffocation, but without strangulation- he fell from much higher; pine pollen point to Mount Potosi, used for paragliding, which proves very competitive; he had a show-off reputation and determined rival, Fred Dacks; his truck is still there... Grissom's hearing problems may require surgery. Catherine and Detective Ray O'Riley investigate a man who was shot trough the chest with his own show-off gun; a waitress heard fighting and a loud sound, she says he's Roger Edmonds, a regular who attracted trouble; mulberries in the truck point to his neighbor Ned Bookman, who points to neighbor Frank Kraft, with ...
