Misdirection
Hitchcoc26 January 2021
When bullets fly in a supermarket, a policeman is killed, as well as five other victims. Because of the constant motion of the participants, it is hard to pin down who killed whom. One of the officers, who sent his partner in to get some food for them, is under investigation. This episode requires a lot of observation of the position of the shooters and the victims. Pretty good offering.

Pretty good episode - Gris vs the cops again :)

Warning: Spoilers
I speak as a CSI veteran. This holds up very well the first time you see it, but has subtleties that bear watching a few times over - a strength of the Vegas CSI series.

The CSIs have to reconstruct what happened in a shoot-out between cops and robbers in a road-side store. There's some barely believable science as usual

One feature is that Grissom is once again investigating the same cop he investigated before, received near-threats from, and eventually cleared that time (because of the evidence, not the threats). The tension works well, excellent acting from both characters.

The Heist
claudio_carvalho2 January 2023
There is a heist in a supermarket with five casualties, including police officer Clay. The entire CSI team investigates the case. Officer Fromansky, Grissom's longtime foe and who killed the robbers and a civilian, claims that there was a third robber on the scene. However, the evidences do not corroborate with his testimony. The CSI proceed the investigation and conclude also that it was an inside job. Will they find the truth?

"Paper or Plastic?" is another great episode of "CSI" with a supermarket heist and five victims. The reason why the mastermind organized the robbery is heartbreaking, but never justifies what happened. My vote is eight.
