A decent episode that is made better by the outrageous hooker costumes the ladies wear for their undercover work in trying to nab an attacker of middle-aged prostitutes. Lacey resembles a blonde Joan Collins in hers while Cagney reminds me of Lynn Redgrave (whom Sharon Gless actually replaced in the series HOUSE CALLS before taking over the Cagney role from Meg Foster).
Betty Buckley appears as a fellow hooker who reluctantly aids the ladies with the case. This is more fun than when they appeared as hookers in the pilot with Loretta Swit as Cagney and in the first episode with Meg Foster taking over the role before Sharon Gless came on.
Merry Clayton takes over from the departed Carl Lumbly as Isbecki's new partner, but she doesn't really make much of a splash here. She does get to join in for the takedown at the end, also dressed as a hooker, but Isbecki's pimp outfit is actually more amusing.
