A Kiss Is Still a Kiss (#6.10)
ComedyFan20101 June 2014
Warning: Spoilers
Rebecca's big crush Evan Drake comes to the bar. As Sam finds out he actually thinks that Rebecca is a lesbian since she never dates. Rebecca is horrified by it and tries to get a date for the party she goes to, but all fails and she has to go with Sam which she doesn't really want. There she kisses Evan and is feeling bad about it.

So we finally see who that Evan Drake is! Guess we will see more of him. I wish there would be more on that lesbian thing. It was pretty funny. I am too worried they lead it to the same relationship Diane and Sam had where they kept on insisting that they didn't like each other but did. Hope soon Sam moves on to somebody else

Evan Drake Appears
Hitchcoc26 August 2019
We finally meet Mr. Drake, the big boss. Rebecca has the hots for his money and property. He is also quite a handsome guy (Tom Skerrit). There is talk that Rebecca may be a lesbian, so she feels the need to turn that idea around. She ends up with Sam at Drake's big party and manages to throw things into turmoil. No help from Sam who only has one thing on his mind. There are a couple decent moments but relatively unimaginative.x

Evan Drake's Party
Bolesroor29 April 2011
Warning: Spoilers
Sam preys on Rebecca's insecurities to get a date with her, during which she loses control and lunges at her crush Evan Drake. This is a strange episode, forgettable, and rather unlikable. The highlight is surely Evan mistaking Rebecca for a lesbian because it's all downhill from there.

Sam accompanies Rebecca to a corporate party- ostensibly to protect her reputation- but really to get into her panties. Frasier is stuck in the saddest B-story of them all when he comes down with a case of incurable hiccups: the broad physical comedy is out of place on the otherwise mellow Cheers. It's a shame there weren't more exchanges between Evan and Woody.... Mr. Drake looks ready to slap him after a mere five minutes.

The final moments of the episode are reminiscent of the Diane years as the Evan-Rebecca-Sam love triangle spars in the office. Evan's final speech is a bit heavy-handed and unrealistic, and we're left in the frustrating position of knowing that in spite of everything that's taken place nothing has changed for any of the characters. This episode also features the worst line to ever come out of Frasier's mouth: "Goose-poop, Sam- the man's a yahoo!"

Advance.
