When the commercial airs, a man, in a gray shirt, is shown walking behind Norm. But the original take shows a woman starting to walk behind him, and when the camera pans to him, no one is walking behind him.
When the gang is tasting the Bloody Mary sample Rebecca stole from Gary's, Norm says, "I'd dress up as a hooker to get some of this stuff." When the Gary's commercial airs (in which the gang makes unwitting cameo), Norm says, "I'd dress up like a hooker to get some of this stuff."
After the opening credits, Norm walks in and sits down and Woody hands him a beer. Sam is asking Norm to try his Bloody Mary and Norm agrees. When Sam hands him the glass with the Bloody Mary, the beer that was sitting on the bar is no longer there.
When Gary's commercial is on the TV, his business is spelled, "Old Towne Tavern", whereas the real bar's name is spelled "Olde".
In the final scene, some of the shots back towards the front of Cheers have a distinctly different, and worse, quality than normal. The difference in quality was likely due to a segment of missing negative when this episode was remastered for high definition, in which case the best available standard definition material available was used instead.
In the beginning, when Sam is working on Cheers' Bloody Mary recipe, the ingredients at the bar in front of him include a bottle of store-bought Bloody Mary mix.
Woody is allergic to black cardamom, an ingredient of Gary's Bloody Mary mix. While impersonating a judge, Woody tastes the Bloody Mary mix without any allergic reaction.
