Gareth is busy making pancakes, he's favouring working on those to visiting friends with Janice. Gareth is having to do the touchy feely thing with all of his staff, not something he's happy doing.
It's a zany episode, Crispin turns out to be somewhat aristocratic, Donald's father turns out to be an escaped convict, and Debra's having problems with an older man, the whole episode is somewhat surreal, the afternoon tea sketch is a hoot. It's more big standard sitcom style than previous episodes, but good fun.
I love Cheryl's appearance, so wonderfully 1990's.
Where's Ian McNeice gone?
