"Ed's Team" finds Louie and Della convincing Ed to sponsor a kids' basketball team in order to buy more equipment. Della plans to supply the food, while Louie is ready to be the coach. A former high school jock himself, Ed tries to coach Raul into joining the squad, while Mr. Rivera (Rene Enriquez), sponsor of their rival Rivera's Rockets, makes a bet about the opening game. Raul isn't happy with his diminutive stature and weak dribble, and Louie is convinced that so long as he's on the team they'll lose for sure: "maybe he can make it as a spectator!" Ed continues to call the kid Chico, whose fate will come up in a future episode.
