Prisoners
Prismark107 December 2021
Warning: Spoilers
Wolfie is preparing to defend Speed who has been jailed again.

However there is no need to go to court. Speed decides come to him. He has escaped prison with the violent Mactaggart.

Holed up in Charlie's house. Wolfie, Ken and Tucker are forced to go to Tooting Bec park to dig for some hidden loot for Mactaggart.

Mactaggart is a character who is certainly not played for laughs. However John Sullivan still gets some laughs.

Mum thinks Charlie is forcing her upstairs to get frisky. Speed wonders what X signifies in Mactaggart's map.

When the money is found. Wolfie is forced by the others to give it to Speed in the hope that he will get a leniency by the judge. Speed goes off to the casino.

Speed on the run!
ShadeGrenade11 June 2010
Warning: Spoilers
A first-rate episode, slightly reminiscent of Steptoe & Son's 'The Desperate Hours'.

Speed is back in prison, and Wolfie busily painting slogans on walls such as 'Speed Is Innocent Again'. One night, while the rest of the T.P.F. is playing records at the Johnsons' house, Speed shows up, having broken out of the nick, and with the armed Mactaggart ( Iain Blair ) in tow. A hostage situation ensues. So as not to worry Florence, Charlie tells her Mactaggart is the insurance man...

The D.V.D. of this episode has been edited due to rights issues, notably Wolfie singing along to The Beatles' 'She Loves You'. Luckily it does not damage it too much. The newsreader is Corbet Woodall, also to be seen in many episodes of 'The Goodies'.

Funniest moment - when Mactaggart goes into the kitchen, Charlie gestures for Florence to go to the bedroom. She thinks he is after a roll in the hay! Second funniest moment - having dug a big hole on the green at Tooting Bec golf club, Tucker and Ken dash off with the box they have found, leaving Wolfie down there. Two golfers appear, and look surprised to say the least.
