Season 8 of Coach marked the biggest fall in what is generally a great series...and this episode is a good example why. The episode is situated around Coach's yard and garden dying at the hands of a gardener that is inept...Tim Conway. Conway plays to his typical hapless persona with what appears to be an outline for the situation, as if Coach Fox just walked into a a Carol Burnett Show skit. While Conway is funny and his schtik has appeal, it is not the type of episode that I would come to expect and love from Coach. Conway improvises his way through the sets and situations, all other cast members painfully react to the act. A great Tim Conway skit but a terrible Coach episode.
