Early episode of the brilliant series Comedy Connections detailing the creation and early years of the 1970s British sitcom Are You Being Served? Several members of the original cast are interviewed for this episode but minor characters, including young Mr Grace, are never mentioned nor is there any explanation of why certain cast members left the series midway through its run. The second half of the episode is unfocused and deals with the other television series written by the creators/writers of the show briefly touching on It Ain't Half Hot Mum, Hi-Di-Hi and the spin off Grace And Favour. Overall a little bit of a let down since the episode should be all about the show and not an overview of the body of work from the creators. Future episodes of Comedy Connections would deal with the creators other programs including Hi-Di-Hi and 'Allo 'Allo.
