Tremendous episode
I realize only now, more than twenty years after its airing on TF1 garbage channel, that this crime TV show was really amazing, far better than the JULIE LESCAUT or NAVARRO crap, from the same garbage channel. But COMMISSAIRE MOULIN was not BRAQUO either. This episode is rather surprising because it is pure crime for the first seventy minuteT and a pure drama for the rest. Anyway I love this story. A cop is violently beat during a riot. The man who assaulted him - Joe Prestia - is indentified by a petty Hood and get arrested by released just after because the lack of evidence against him. Then he evntually kills the informer. But there is a witness, another petty thug. Prestia first theatens him not to talk but the punk finally denounces him for the crime. Prestia is arrested for the second time. But a friend of him - Alain Figlarz - finds the second informer of the story and kills him too. Then the friend of the deceased goes on rampage to avenge his pal's killing. So, you see, this is a chain of killings and executions. This is rather unusual, no length here, fast moving, poignant, moving on many moments, but maybe a little much moralizer and didactic. And, I repeat, the final minutes are surprising. I love this story.
