Nervous Norman at Natchanoomi
JordanThomasHall25 April 2019
Eddie has gone away to Camp Natchanoomi for two weeks. He's no longer excited, however, when his friend Billy Gerber who was going with him gets sick and cancels. Tom still feels it's important he learn to have a good time away from him. Norman fears Eddie will be lonesome and feel rejected, based on an experience he had. Eddie sends a postcard that Mrs. Livingston reads into to feel he is lonely. Tom and Eddie call the camp to speak to Eddie, but it is free period and he can't be found. Tom decides to go there to convince Norman that he is fine. Eddie has a distant attitude in saying he's "okay", but Norman "doesn't know". He thinks Eddie wants to come home but doesn't feel Tom wants him to. Norman and Tom decide to stay on at the camp, too, to see how things are.
