Death in Vogue

The second episode and Cover Up has set up its cheesy stall.

Glamorous women who are the models, pop songs not sung by the original artists, international locations which consists of library footage, Mykelti Williamson being totally wasted as the token black guy (Don't worry Mykelti you will be in some great movies in the 90s.)

Mac needs to find a cop called Cody who has gone to Italy to kill a diplomat called Ducane. He is a suspect in the killing of several models (one was Cody's daughter) but Ducane has an alibi and diplomatic immunity.

Danielle Reynolds sets her own models as bait for Ducane, who soon homes in during a model shoot.

A solid adventure although rather dark with a demented diplomat with a blade. Hexum does convince more as a muscular male model than an ex Green Beret.

There are some familiar faces in this episode. Hoyt Axton was famous in 1984 as the father who bought home a gremlin for Christmas. Sheree J Wilson went to Dallas.
