Larry and Cheryl enjoy their bowling double-date with Ted Danson and Mary Steenburgen, but it ends badly when Larry accuses the bowling alley of misplacing his sneakers. Later, Ted gets the wrong idea about Larry when he goes shopping with Mary at a downtown department store.

Mary gets a strike and says it is a good way to end. Larry is told all he needs is a spare to win, but when the scorecard is shown, Larry has already thrown 2 balls in the 10th frame, a strike and a 7, and has a score of 120 thru 9 frames. If he converts the spare, he could only tie Mary at 140, not win. And when he throws the ball, it is towards a full rack, not just the 3 pins for the spare, and Larry gets a strike. See more
