- An angry Kosmo goes searching for Sue, who she has learned is somewhere in the police interrogation system. Finn is determined to get a confession from her for the murders of all three of Brian's snitches. Although Kurtz wants to retain Kosmo in Homicide despite what looks to be negligence on her part regarding Sue, Kurtz denies Kosmo access to Sue. With the Will Summers investigation, Leary finds out that it is the US Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) that had the electronic surveillance on Will's boat. On an associated matter, Marla winds up Will's girlfriend, Lila, about the whereabouts of the rest of Will's drug money. Leary himself has a more frank discussion with Lila. With the case of the deceased private investigator who was tailing Da Vinci, Phil Rosen outlines several possibilities as to who would have hired her. Williams interrogates Norton about the connection between Michael Zang and James Torelli, two of his clients who recently met untimely deaths in two separate incidents. Williams slyly implies that he knows something about the missing laundered moneys. With the hit and run case, Da Vinci speaks to Ted Fellows, the deceased's stepfather. Da Vinci implies that he knows more to the story than he can divulge, which temporarily placates Fellows. Da Vinci has some make or break deals with both the Mayor and Jacobs regarding the red light district proposal, one which hits Jacobs on the home front. And Shannon looks for temporary work to do during his six week suspension. On matters more personal to Da Vinci, his car gets towed and in turn his briefcase stolen, which contained some highly confidential information. And he continues his personal liaison with Isabel Sandonovo.—Huggo
- Finn continues to interogate Sue through the night without providing her with legal aid. Kosmo is unable to find them as he takes her somewhere other than homicide to interview her, despite putting that on the paperwork. Kurtz watches. Da Vinci talks to Isabel about the possibility of the Mayor running for Premiere of British Columbia. Chick and Leary are watching Wills boat when someone comes and collects the GPS device. They get another constable to talk to him and he says hes on the job. He sounds American but claims to be working with some up in Canada and gives the Constables a contact, a RCMP Inspector Barris. Leary follows the American, who turns out to be Rob Sims, DEA, and he meets up with Lila and her brother. Sue tells Finn that she was there on the night that Carla was killed, and made sure she was where Brian wanted her, but didnt know he was going to kill her. Rose tells Norton the latest on the suicide of the Italian banker who, it turns out, was also his client and also involved in money laundering. Da Vincis car is towed and when he finds his car he finds briefcase containing his notes gone. The father of Alice, the girl who died in the hit and run, ask Da Vinci what the delay is on the investigation of her death. Da Vinci speaks to Monty and finds out that he didnt check to see if there was any damage to the front fender before he stole the car. He claims he didnt hit the girl and Da Vinci believes him. Kurtz talks to Jacobs about keeping Kosmo in homicide. Jacobs says this is fine if the conviction of Sue goes ahead. Kosmo goes against Kurtzs instructions and goes to see Sue and the drug counsellor. Shannon goes to Da Vinci looking for some Private Investigator work. Da Vinci meets with the Mayor, who now has Norton as his lawyer, and later Jacobs to get their support for the red light district. He suceeds, and gets Jacobs to fire one of the officers involved in Roy Cardinales death. Jacobs fires his cousin, Dino, promising him a well-paid job in security. Leary learns that Lilas brother went to the RCMP and cut a deal. Lila is shifting on her story about knowing whether Will was running dope again.
