- Walt Driscoll: [in jail from behind the wire grill] J.R., please...!
- JR Ewing: I wouldn't give you the dust off my car.
- Walt Driscoll: J.R., look, we were in this together!
- JR Ewing: But we're not anymore. I'm not giving you a dime. You've cost me a fortune already.
- Walt Driscoll: J.R., I lost too! I lost everything. I lost my wife!
- JR Ewing: Hey, that's a good idea. You see if you can get your wife to raise your bail for you.
- Walt Driscoll: J.R., I won't forget this! I swear, I'll get back at you if it's the last thing I ever do! I'll get back at you, I swear!
- Bobby Ewing: [re Walt Driscoll] Wait till he opens that case I slipped him. The rest of his hair is gonna fall out.
- Donna Culver Krebbs: Do you know what time it is?
- Ray Krebbs: Oh, honey, I... I didn't mean to scare ya.
- Donna Culver Krebbs: You know you could've called your wife, Ray Krebbs. Would you like to tell me what it is you two were celebrating?
- Ray Krebbs: [aims drunken kiss at Donna, which she evades] Think we ought to tell her?
- Bobby Ewing: We rode out in the spirit of John Wayne, Donna.
- Ray Krebbs: Yeah, we headed J.R. off at the pass.
- [laughs heartily]
- Donna Culver Krebbs: [impatiently] What are you talking about?
- Bobby Ewing: Okay. In plain English...
- Donna Culver Krebbs: Please.
- Bobby Ewing: J.R...
- [cannot contain his laughter]
- Bobby Ewing: will never sell guns to the Indians again.
- [laughs heartily]
- Pamela Barnes Ewing: I guess Miss Ellie told you that we, uh... bumped into each other yesterday.
- Bobby Ewing: No, she never mentioned it.
- Pamela Barnes Ewing: [softly] Oh.
- Bobby Ewing: I mean it, honey, she never said a word.
- [behind them, Katherine's in the doorway]
- Bobby Ewing: Where'd you meet?
- Pamela Barnes Ewing: In a restaurant. She was having lunch with Clayton Farlow and I was with Mark Graison.
- Bobby Ewing: I see.
- Katherine Wentworth: [comes forward] Bobby... Bobby, it's not the way it sounds, though... Look, Pam was just trying to help Cliff.
- Pamela Barnes Ewing: Katherine, stop it! I don't have anything to hide.
- Katherine Wentworth: I'm sorry, I didn't mean to interfere.
- [leaves]
- Pamela Barnes Ewing: Now, this is silly. It sounds like something much bigger than it really was. I don't have anything to feel guilty about.
- Bobby Ewing: Everybody around here seems to feel to cover up for you.
- Pamela Barnes Ewing: Bobby, nobody has to cover up anything for me.
- Bobby Ewing: Then why wouldn't Mama have mentioned it?
- Pamela Barnes Ewing: Well, I don't know. Why don't you ask her that?
- Bobby Ewing: I just might.
- JR Ewing: Those ships were not supposed to be offloaded until you gave the signal.
- Walt Driscoll: What can I tell you J.R.?
- JR Ewing: You can tell me how a damn bunch of cigar chompers got a half million barrels of my crude and another half million barrels that I was responsible for and didn't pay me one single penny for it?
- Cliff Barnes: I mean, if you're on a roll, you go for it, right?
- Pamela Barnes Ewing: That's what I always say!
- Cliff Barnes: I'm going to make Barnes Oil into the flagship of the industry!
- Katherine Wentworth: [miffed] Barnes Oil? You mean Barnes-Wentworth, don't you?
- Cliff Barnes: [distractedly] Yeah, I mean Barnes-Wentworth.
- [smiling again and enthusiastic]
- Cliff Barnes: I'm going to make it one of the biggest independent oil companies in the state of Texas!
- Garcia: [on the phone with J.R] Well, I can put you in touch with my friend in Cuba. But, as you say, my fee should be more than the hundred-thousand dollars that I agreed to before.
- JR Ewing: Oh, absolutely. We're gonna double that.
- Garcia: Maybe a little more than that?
- JR Ewing: Uh, well, what kind of fee do you have in mind?
- Garcia: Well, Cuba owes you forty million dollars. I think 25% of that would be fair.
- JR Ewing: Garcia, are you out of your mind? I'm not going to pay you ten million dollars!
- Garcia: Senor, you better think it over. It's the only way you're going to get back any of your money.
- [last lines]
- Holly Harwood: I didn't ask to sell oil to Puerto Rico. I didn't even want to make this deal.
- JR Ewing: The deal was solid. Bobby screwed it up.
- Holly Harwood: I want my 17 million dollars, J.R. And I want it right now.
- JR Ewing: Well, in that case, you better get on the phone and book a flight to Cuba.
- Holly Harwood: Cuba? Why Cuba?
- JR Ewing: Because that's where your oil and your money is right now.
- Holly Harwood: You'll pay for this. I'll make you pay dearly.
- JR Ewing: Now, Holly, I'm afraid you're just gonna have to stand in line.
- Katherine Wentworth: J.R., you and I have similar goals.
- JR Ewing: Oh, like what?
- Katherine Wentworth: Well, it occurred to me that both of us have brothers we'd like to be free of. Maybe we should talk a little lunchtime strategy?
- JR Ewing: [grinning] Well, this day is working out a lot better than it started, that's for sure!
