Having just about survived his injuries, Brian is struggling to carry on with life, his men band around him to get him on his feet. Norma is concerned about getting married without a wedding dress.
It's a massive change in pace and tone, the show has been gritty and dramatic since the off, this was a somewhat lighter, more jolly affair. I'm quite glad they signed the show off with something along these lines.
The big question we had going into this one, was Brian going to have survived his injuries, and if so, what sort of state would he be found in. We didn't have too long to wait to discover.
A great episode for Sergeant James, he really is on top form, sorting out everyone's problems.
The best single feature about this episode has to be the performance of Anthony Andrews, he is outstanding, you truly do get Brian's torment, but his steely doesn't and determination.
It does sadden me somewhat to think that Deborah Watling effectively quit acting at this point, such a shame, a lovely actress, best known for her role as Doctor Who companion, Victoria Waterfield.
A strong final episode.
8/10.
